The goal of the Program of Religious Education (PRE) at St. Mary's is to get your child excited about becoming an active member of the parish. We provide fun and creative lessons for our younger students, and hands-on opportunities for community service for our older children. The PRE at St. Mary's allows for a better teacher-to-student ratio than any private school in Memphis. Our program is free of cost, and we accept all children ages 5-18.
Our classes meet at 9am on Sunday mornings, and beginning this year, St. Mary's now offers a new program entitled, 'Faith For Families'. This class/discussion group meets concurrently with the PRE classes and provides all family members with informal discussion to broaden their own understanding of the faith, as well as tools and activities to enhance the religious education experience at home. Breakfast snacks are provided.
